Beyond Receives an 'A' Grade from Climbing Magazine

Eugene, Oregon - March 2003 - Beyond Clothing has received the highest grade in the review of soft shells by Climbing Magazine, an 'A'. The product reviewed was Beyond's Cold Fusion Soft Shell, made with Schoeller's WB-400. As with all Beyond products the Cold Fusion was custom created for Dave Sheldon, the journalist who wrote the story.

"The Schoeller WB-400 fabric was surprisingly breathable for its warmth, and provided ample wind and weather protection. The two hand-warmer pockets are well clear of all waist belts, a Napoleon chest pocket was a great place for a point-and-shoot camera, and simple elastic wrist closures easily kept out the elements. The waist closure was the best in the test thanks to its gasket-like design."

A few months before the magazine went to press Mr. Sheldon had chosen his colors, options, and offered simple to take measurements. Along with this incredible customization he was able to answer questions in how he wanted the jacket to fit. "Beyond's proprietary system of customization created the garment in under two weeks which is a standard turn around time for Beyond", said Scott Jones, the owner and founder of Beyond Clothing.
